How can coaching help you?

Imagine…

You wake up in the morning with 0 minutes to spare. The snooze button has already been hit no less than 5 times. You really should have been out of bed 45 minutes ago. Damnit.

You wanted to log on to work early today to tie up some loose ends from yesterday before that client meeting. Ugh this feeling sucks! And forget that 15-minute yoga flow you wanted to do before you got ready. Oh well, you’ll do it tonight. But you know you won’t. After the long work day you’ll just log off and turn on Netflix, maybe order a pizza, scroll Instagram, the usual. Because you slept in you’re not tired, so you stay up too late (again) with every intention to wake up when the alarm actually goes off tomorrow. But when the alarm goes off, well you know what happens… The cycle repeats.

How hard did you have to try to imagine this scenario? Maybe it wasn’t 100% accurate, but chances are some of what I described applies to you.

Now try imagining this instead…

You wake up with 45 minutes to use to your advantage before you have to start getting ready. You actually have time to use that beautiful chemex pour over that is usually just collecting dust on you counter. While your coffee is brewing you do a quick yoga flow and then start getting ready for the day. Your clothes were already laid out the night before so you don't even have to waste the brain power making that decision. You sit down at your desk ready to log on to work 20 minutes ahead of the usual time which gives you time to catch up on that thing that keeps getting pushed to the bottom of your to-do list.

After a successful work day completing everything on your task list, you log off work, change into gym clothes, and head straight to the gym. You come home, prepare a delicious dinner (that you planned ahead of time), and watch an episode of your favorite show while you eat (Netflix still exists in this reality too!).

As your day winds down you complete your relaxing evening routine and are ready to get a restful nights’ sleep and eager to do it all again tomorrow!

Doesn’t that sound so much nicer than the first option?!

This is only one example of how coaching has helped transform someone’s life. Because this is a true story from one of my clients. She was able to transform her stressful mornings into carefree, relaxed ones!

There have been countless other scenarios in which coaching has helped someone completely transform their lives. My clients have created sustainable ways to manage illnesses, healed broken marriages, decided to go back to school and switch careers, ended toxic relationships, and so many more wonderful things!

What is the thing you’ve been wanting to change? Why haven’t you changed it yet? Maybe it’s time to ask yourself, “how can coaching help me?”
